Trash Talk - Adopt a Beach. February 20, 2010. 9AM- 12PM Esperanza
We at W are determined to leave as delicate a footprint as possible and we are embracing the island and its two legged inhabitants with an ‘Adopt a Beach' program. Keep our paradise pristine, our beaches beautiful & take your trash with you. Our very first beach adoption will be Esperanza Beach!
How can I help?
- Turn up at the Malecon on Saturday, February 20th, at 8:45am, grab a bag and gloves and start cleaning our beaches!!
What do I get out of it?
- You'll feel really great about yourself and your island AND at the end (12 noon) we will have a hot dog BBQ and soft drinks for those who participate.
Who is invited?
- Everyone.
AIM: every month we will choose another beach to clean, meet people, have a BBQ and feel good about ourselves and our community - it's that simple.
