FIT RETRAT - ENERGIZE by Tara Stiles  combines 4 main components:  Strala Yoga sessions, outdoor activities, refueling time at Away® Spa and mindful sipping and savoring every day of the program.


Strala Yoga is a movement system designed to ignite freedom. Founded by Tara Stiles, Strala focuses on helping people find their own way into their own bodies, with a calm ease carried through easy and challenging movements alike. Thousands of Guides lead Strala classes around the globe in gyms, studios, and partner studios opening in 2014.

Strala’s class types include STRONG (intense flow) RELAX (chill flow) ENERGIZE (invigorating flow) BASICS (awareness flow) and GENTLE (restorative flow). The classes are movement driven, allowing each inhale to lift, expand and open, and each exhale to move further into the experience. An oceanic quality of calm power guides the experience. The result is a great feeling of expansion, freedom, strength, and radiance from the inside out.

The Strala Yoga Sessions at the Retreat take place twice a day, every day (with the exception of arrival and departure dates) at different locations within the Retreat.

These sessions are guided by certified Strala Yoga Guides whom Tara Stiles has trained herself.

Activities outdoors have been planned for you to discover the pristine surroundings of Vieques Island while getting fit.

It will also pose a great opportunity to connect with your ‘tribe’ for the week and have fun!

Some of the activities include:

  • Kayaking
  • Paddle Boarding
  • Cycling
  • Hiking
  • Snorkeling
  • Beach Hopping

These activities are organized in collaboration with our long term partner Black Beard Sports. They will provide you with all the necessary equipment to make the most of each activity.


Because taking the time to refuel the body is equally important in your fun journey to get fit, you will select two personalized 50 minute treatments to recharge at Away Spa when enrolled in a 5 day FIT RETREAT program. The treatments are selected according to your needs and defined by you during the initial assessment session.

Get Ready. Away Spa will transport you to where the mood is set to decompress. Check out the organic and perfectly blended potions and custom-made scrubs and rubs available for you to pick and choose.  The more than 30 treatments are designed to relax the body and rejuvenate the spirit. 


As eating represents one of the key components to reaching optimal health, we have carefully curated a daily three meal program that will support you in your personal journey to get fit.  

Every five day program includes the following foods:

  • Group dinner on arrival day
  • Power breakfast at leisure
  • Two Cook with Chef lunches
  • Dinner at leisure daily

The health-conscious menus provided during your stay have been designed in collaboration with Tara Stiles and our Executive Chef, using the freshest local ingredients and featuring recipe elements from Tara Stiles’ first cookbook ‘Make Your Own Rules Diet’. Menu items that are part of the program specify information on calories, protein levels, superfoods, and other nutritional data relevant to your health.
